This music is dated 1994-2000, when everything was just getting started.
There are two terms which, according to some indications, have been replacing in the past and are replacing the name drumfunk itself now, edits /choppage. Edits is the production and composing of the drums, choppage is literally chopping, shredding the solo to it’s components (derivative from the verb ‘chopping’).
