The year 2020 brings us a few guest mixes in our punch mix series. The 34th episode comes from a young talent from the Netherlands. At 18, Leniz is a pioneer for the next drum & bass generation. At an age when many are not even allowed to visit a club, the Dutchman already looks back on some international gigs and releases.
At the young age of 12, Leniz began a passion for music and its production. Thanks to influences from other styles such as hip hop, trap, house or ambient, Leniz developed his own sound. This is classified in the classic Liquid Drum & Bass and contains flat atmospheric elements, deep bass lines and relaxed vibes. Deep rollers and jungle sounds are also his preferences. Leniz Tunes were released on labels like Celsius Recordings, Soul Deep or Differential. His last EP "Antarctica" was released in February 2020 on Fokuz Recordings.
In punch mix # 34 Leniz presents his chilled and relaxed sound. While the first half is shaped by PowerLiquid, in half two the deep sound is in the foreground. A perfect basis for a varied set. Have fun listening!
